Essien Housing Payment Assistance Program (EHAP)

Our vision is to use our tax-exempt position to raise funds through housing construction, public tax-deductible donations to our cause, dial-for-dollars, car donations, and other lawful avenues to find the money to help our fellow Americans who may need help paying for rent or mortgage.

We approach counties or cities where we are active to arrange for the local authorities to use our deposited funds to help their qualified residents pay for housing.

Applying HUD-defined formulas, the local housing authorities would select qualified applicants in their jurisdictions and send them our monthly funds—when available—to augment the applicants’ rents/mortgage payments.

So, our EHAP formula makes affordable housing possible and broadly distributed by helping residents pay their rent or mortgage. We help our fellow Americans with their housing needs with absolutely no regards to ZIP Codes, or type of construction. And we certainly do NOT consider race, gender, or ethnicities, etc.
